RIKON 70-800 4 Piece Woodturning System & Carbide Insert Cutters

The RIKON 70-800 woodturning system is a premium turning set that includes a 16” long, machined aluminum Handle with an anti-vibration grip that features a unique forward chucking system. The system includes three, high quality 8-3/8” steel shafts with either a Circle, Square or Diamond shaped carbide insert cutter. The carbide inserts are secured to the shaft ends with a T20 screw for ease of replacement. The finely machined shafts have bottoms that are milled with a flat, and 2 side bevels for extra stability on the tool rest when turning.

The RIKON 70-800 turning system has been specifically developed for both the experienced and novice wood turner. RIKON’s high quality turning system features tungsten carbide cutters that keep their sharp cutting edges longer than typical carbon or high-speed steel tools.  One of the 70-800 turning systems best features is the quick-change cutters. After many hours of use the cutters will become dull, simply remove the T20 screw holding the cutter in place, rotate the cutter to expose a fresh cutting edge and tighten back in place. To replace the carbide, or change the cutting edge only takes a few seconds.
