Blue surgical masks are also known as a medical face mask are a great health and safety item. Blue surgical masks are personal protective equipment worn by health professionals and the general population as added protection from spreading respiratory droplets. When worn correctly, blue surgical masks help prevent airborne transmission of infections by blocking the movement of pathogens like bacteria and viruses that are shed in respiratory droplets and aerosols from the wearer’s mouth and nose.
